Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures. Maintain building interior spaces through painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and facilities maintenance to uphold high standards of appearance. Operate hand tools and specialized equipment for welding, HVAC system repair, or mechanical work with precision and safety. Follow schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions swiftly. Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs, manage maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inspections to ensure accountability and compliance with operational procedures. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities equipment maintenance across residential settings. Proficiency in electrical work including troubleshooting electrical systems using schematics and ohmmeters. Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques for residential properties. Experience with HVAC systems repair and troubleshooting to maintain indoor comfort levels efficiently. Ability to operate hand tools effectively; familiarity with welding techniques is a plus. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is desirable for advanced building automation tasks. Competence in maintenance painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and building interior upkeep. Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) procedures for residential facilities management. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with residents and team members clearly. Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior staff or apprentices when necessary.
