The Lodge at Whitefish Lake , one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Team at $24 hour. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This role is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and visually appealing environment for residents and guests.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of common areas, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical components. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies from residents or property management. Complete repairs involving carpentry, drywall, painting, minor appliance servicing, and basic plumbing/electrical work. Maintain cleanliness and order in shared spaces such as lobbies, hallways, fitness centers, and pool areas. Collaborate with contractors and vendors when specialized repairs or inspections are required. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety codes, building regulations, and company policies. Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, inventory, and work orders.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is a plus. Proven experience in property or building maintenance, preferably in a residential or multi-family housing setting. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Flexibility to work on-call shifts, weekends, or respond to after-hours emergencies when needed.
EDUCATION
High School graduate or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE/ LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
2+ years' experience in similar role preferred.
