Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation, cleanliness, and safety of swimming pools. Your expertise will help provide clients with pristine, well-maintained pools that meet industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with pool equipment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Duties Perform routine pool maintenance tasks including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and balancing chemical levels to ensure optimal water quality. Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or replacements as needed. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for equipment repairs and installations. Conduct regular inspections of pool systems to identify potential issues before they escalate. Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules. Assist with the installation of new pool equipment and system upgrades. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities. Communicate clearly with clients regarding service procedures, maintenance tips, and safety precautions. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or pool technician with hands-on knowledge of pool systems and equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool mechanics and electrical components. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks. Experience in pool cleaning, chemical balancing, and routine maintenance procedures. Ability to diagnose issues accurately and perform effective equipment repairs. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety protocols. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a professional demeanor.
