We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our facilities and production equipment operating safely and efficiently. This hands-on position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs across our four New Hampshire locations. What You'll Do:
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep our operations running by maintaining production equipment and supporting our facilities.
Daily responsibilities include:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and repair production machinery, including wood, foam, and corrugated packaging equipment. Perform basic electrical preventive maintenance and repairs. Complete general building and facility maintenance as needed. Travel between our Milton, Dover, Merrimack, and Milford facilities to perform maintenance and repairs. Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders. Order replacement parts and maintenance supplies as needed. Ensure equipment is operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a dependable, self-motivated maintenance professional who enjoys solving problems and takes pride in keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Helpful experience includes:
Manufacturing or industrial maintenance. Mechanical troubleshooting and repair. Preventive maintenance programs. Basic electrical maintenance and repair. General building and facility maintenance. Reading equipment manuals and technical drawings. Maintenance work order systems. Safe use of maintenance tools and equipment.
You should be comfortable with:
Working independently and managing multiple priorities. Troubleshooting equipment issues in a manufacturing environment. Traveling between company facilities during the workday. Responding to maintenance needs in a timely manner. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Physical Requirements:
This is an active maintenance position requiring: Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting. Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds. Team lifting when necessary. Working around manufacturing equipment in an industrial environment. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our Milton facility (a company service vehicle is available for travel between facilities). Why Join Index Packaging?
