Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Tenant Services Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing building systems and interior spaces to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for residents and staff alike. Your expertise will help uphold the high standards of property maintenance, enhance tenant satisfaction, and support the overall operational excellence of our community. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced, energetic setting where every day presents new challenges and opportunities for growth. Responsibilities Respond promptly to tenant service requests and work orders, prioritizing by urgency and safety. Perform general repairs and maintenance in plumbing, electrical, HVAC (basic), carpentry, drywall, painting, and appliance and fixture repair. Complete unit turnovers and suite inspections, including make-ready work between tenants. Document all work in the maintenance management system, including time, materials, and follow-up needs. Communicate clearly and courteously with tenants about scheduling, work status, and completion. Coordinate with and supervise outside vendors and contractors as needed. Identify and report safety hazards, code issues, and deferred maintenance. Maintain common areas, mechanical rooms, and grounds in clean, safe conditions. Participate in the on-call or after-hours emergency rotation. Follow all safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and company policies. Requirements Proven experience in commercial property maintenance or related roles. Strong customer service and communication skills. Working knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Certifications not required but desirable. Please list. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools, PLCs, ohmmeters, and electrical equipment repair devices. Physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces as required. Experience with work order software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, Building Engines, Angus). Ability to manage time, prioritize, and work independently. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Bilingual skills helpful.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
