Position Summary As an Assistant Maintenance Technician, you will support the daily maintenance operations of the community by completing service requests, assisting with apartment turns, and performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and able to communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members. Key Responsibilities

Complete resident service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner

Perform general maintenance throughout the apartment community

Conduct basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting

Diagnose and perform minor electrical repairs

Troubleshoot and repair household appliances

Complete carpentry, drywall repairs, painting, and general upkeep

Assist with apartment turns and make-ready preparation

Help maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the property

Follow all safety policies and procedures

Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff

Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Spanish required

Previous apartment maintenance experience required

Strong knowledge of general maintenance functions

Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, and carpentry work

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Must possess and maintain your own basic maintenance tools

Reliable transportation and strong attendance history

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
