Maintenance Technician -
Manufacturing Job Type:
Full-time, On-site Position Overview A well-established manufacturing company in Arcade, NY is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to maintain production equipment and facility systems. This position will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment problems, and complete scheduled and emergency repairs. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities and experience working with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Previous CNC equipment maintenance experience is highly preferred. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment Complete scheduled repairs and respond to unexpected equipment breakdowns Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Diagnose equipment problems, replace or repair defective parts, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments Perform general building and facility maintenance Use hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment safely Prioritize maintenance requests and work independently to minimize production downtime Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations Assist with additional maintenance duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred CNC machine maintenance experience strongly preferred Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting knowledge Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment Valid driver's license Ability to work independently and take initiative Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments Good written and verbal communication skills Dependable, trustworthy, and safety-conscious Consistent and reliable attendance is required Physical and Working Conditions Work is performed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Requires extended periods of standing and walking Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach as needed Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds May involve exposure to manufacturing noise and varying temperatures Weekly pay, OT available, no weekends, great benefits and culture! $25-$28 an hour.

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
