Job Description
## Pool Technician Helper & Driver Long Island Pool Cleaning (LIPC) is seeking a reliable, motivated
- Driver/Helper
- to join our growing team. We're looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, possesses a strong work ethic, and can work efficiently with a team. You will work alongside with one of our technicians, ensuring routes are completed safely, efficiently, and to our high standards. ### Position Details
Hours:
- Minimum of 6 hours per shift, with shifts typically ranging from 6-12 hours depending on workload and seasonal demand.
Location:
- Long Island, NY ### Requirements
- Valid New York State Driver's License
- with a clean driving record
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to safely navigate and drive service routes across Long Island
- Physical capability to handle heavy lifting (pool equipment, chemical buckets, and salt bags up to 50 lbs)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from the lead technician
- Reliable transportation ### Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Long Island geography and navigation apps
- Basic familiarity with outdoor maintenance or pool cleaning ### Responsibilities
- Safely operate the service vehicle and navigate daily routes efficiently
- Assist the lead technician with tasks related to pool maintenance, openings, and closings
- Handle the loading, unloading, and carrying of pool chemicals, hoses, and equipment
- Assist with manual tasks such as skimming, brushing, emptying baskets, and setting up vacuums
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service truck
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers ### Compensation Compensation is competitive and based on reliability, driving record, and general labor experience.
