You'll operate mill and grain equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, weld and make repairs, and help keep our operation running safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

Operate, monitor, and maintain feed mill and grain handling equipment Operate and maintain heavy machinery and equipment Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs Troubleshoot equipment and identify mechanical problems Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding and fabrication Receive, store, and manage grain according to facility flow plans Move grain safely and efficiently throughout the facility Load feed and grain into trucks Coordinate with truck drivers and dispatch during loading and deliveries Inspect bins, equipment, and other areas of the facility Safely climb ladders and work at heights when inspecting bins and equipment Maintain accurate production and inventory records Follow established safety procedures and facility standards Keep the mill, equipment, and work areas clean and organized Assist with groundskeeping, site upkeep, and general cleanup Assist with other duties as needed to keep the operation running smoothly What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-minded, and willing to work hard.

The ideal candidate will have:

Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills MIG, TIG, and ARC welding experience - required Experience with feed mills, grain operations, farming, food production, manufacturing, construction, heavy equipment, or a related industry is preferred Experience operating machinery or heavy equipment is a plus Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Ability and willingness to climb ladders and work at heights Comfortable working in dusty, noisy, indoor and outdoor environments Ability to work in varying weather conditions Ability to safely work around moving machinery and equipment Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Schedule Monday-Friday with a weekend rotation. Weekend shifts are shared among the operations team. As our team grows, the weekend rotation becomes less frequent.
