Maintenance Technician-Full Time Full-time days $20-$24/HR Join Our Team at Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury! We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician-Full Time to join our team at Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury, a state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing Facility located in Lake Katrine, New York. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and providing exceptional care to our residents. About Us Our 39-acre campus in Mid-Hudson Valley offers a unique living environment designed to promote re-acquisition of cognitive, physical, and social skills in a naturalistic setting. Our rural setting features shops, a library, music studio, post office, cafe, clubhouse, lounge, art studio, hair salon, gym, and a park with walking/jogging path. Responsibilities As a Maintenance Technician-Full Time, your responsibilities will include: Completing preventative maintenance schedules, work orders, and inspections as assigned with required documentation Daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly checks of equipment, complete necessary repairs and/or cleaning equipment, and testing of various equipment as assigned General maintenance and repairs of the building, grounds, and equipment, including wall repair and painting, tiles, floors, and ceilings, resident room equipment, plumbing and fixtures, kitchen equipment, and more Attending and participating in educational classes and in-services Daily rounds on all units to make repairs and complete written requests to uphold quality of life for the residents from a facility maintenance aspect Maintaining a record of work completed and contacting supervisor for parts and supplies needed to complete work Requirements To be considered for this role, you must: Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent Be able to read, write, and understand English Be dependable, adaptable to change, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Compensation Your rate will be commensurate with experience.
