Job Description

Overview St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, affiliated with Catholic Health, is located in Smithtown, NY on a beautiful 110-acre campus that includes a 290-bed community hospital, a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility, and a 60,000 sq. ft. medical office building. SCS is engaged with error reduction initiatives and on a journey to High Reliability. We have been recognized in superior care in stroke and sepsis patients, have also recently attained Center of Excellence in Bariatric Surgery, and have been designated as the only Baby Friendly hospital in Suffolk County. Job Details The Maintenance Mechanic II Performs a wide variety of functions related to plumbing, heating, medical gases operation, maintenance and repair of hospital moveable equipment, and other building maintenance as required.
Requirements:
High school diploma , equivalent or relative experience Successful graduation from an accredited trade school with courses in: mechanics, electricity, general maintenance, HVAC. Minimum 3 years' experience in the building trades Must be able to work independently Valid, clean NYS driver's license Posted Salary Range Starting from USD $34.34/Hr. The salary rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
