A growing manufacturing facility in Hocking County is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join its team. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to support efficient production operations.
This is a temp-to-direct-hire opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with a stable employer. Candidates should have prior experience working directly on industrial or manufacturing equipment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. What You'll Be Doing
Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and operational issues
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and complete repairs in a timely manner
Maintain machinery to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency
Inspect equipment and identify potential maintenance concerns before failures occur
Follow safety policies and maintenance procedures at all times
Document maintenance activities and repairs as required
Work collaboratively with production and maintenance team members to support facility operations
Schedule
Monday through Friday
7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Overtime is frequently required
Typical workweek averages approximately 50 hours

What We're Looking For
Minimum of two years of industrial maintenance experience
Experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing or production equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties including standing, walking, bending, squatting, and reaching
Please Note:
Building maintenance, janitorial maintenance, and general facility maintenance experience alone does not meet the requirements for this position. Ideal Candidate
