ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operating the mill at peak efficiency and specifications. Perform maintenance on the mill and all elevator equipment in accordance with the facility's preventative maintenance program Perform repairs as needed on the mill and elevator equipment to ensure consistent and timely operations of delivery and distribution of grain; employees will be required to work on elevated equipment, so fear of heights is a consideration Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions or potential issues to supervisors Assist with the loading and unloading of commodities during seasonally busy periods Perform housekeeping duties including power washing, sweeping, and shoveling of grain bins and other related facilities Operate grain elevator equipment and receive incoming commodities Assist in inspecting and monitoring commodity quality Maintain a professional attitude with a mindset of continuous improvement Follow any and all company safety policies and report unsafe conditions to supervisors Fill in for fellow employees on an as needed basis Maintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance on a regular basis Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICIATIONS

Maintain a valid driver's license Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form Have the ability to work in a team setting as well as work independently Some knowledge of mechanical systems Able to lift at least 50 lbs.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Prior experience in repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment required. Welding experience preferred.
