Natural Clear Solutions LLC Curry County, Oregon $30.00 per hour | Full-Time | Approximately 40 hours per week Position Overview Natural Clear Solutions LLC is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a full-time Utility Operations & Maintenance Technician. NCS provides water, wastewater, utility, facility, and property operations throughout Curry County. This position supports multiple NCS-operated facilities and is well suited for someone who enjoys varied work, working independently, solving problems, and learning new systems. The position combines field operations, sampling, maintenance, compliance support, facility upkeep, and general operational work. Responsibilities and work locations will vary throughout the week based on system and company needs. This is intended to be a long-term position with opportunities to develop additional skills, obtain water and wastewater certifications, and take on greater operational responsibility over time. What You'll Do Typical responsibilities may include: Assist with the operation and monitoring of water and wastewater systems Perform routine inspections and operational checks at NCS-operated facilities Collect water and wastewater samples and coordinate laboratory submissions Help maintain company-wide sampling schedules and compliance records Complete operating logs, inspection records, and other routine documentation Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting of pumps, valves, piping, equipment, and facilities Assist with equipment repairs and system maintenance Maintain clean, organized, and safe facilities Perform grounds and property maintenance, including mowing, vegetation management, cleanup, and general upkeep Transport samples, tools, materials, and supplies between facilities Assist with construction, excavation, repair, and improvement projects Respond to operational issues when assigned Support other NCS field and operational needs as necessary The exact mix of work will vary. Some days may be focused primarily on utility operations or sampling, while others may involve maintenance, facility work, compliance documentation, or field projects. What We're Looking For The right candidate does not necessarily need previous water or wastewater experience. We are looking for someone who is: Dependable and takes responsibility for assigned work Comfortable working independently Mechanically inclined and willing to troubleshoot problems Organized and capable of keeping accurate records Comfortable using basic computers, email, and electronic forms Able to safely perform physical work indoors and outdoors Willing to work at multiple locations throughout Curry County Comfortable learning technical processes and following operating procedures Able to communicate clearly with coworkers, management, laboratories, customers, and other professionals Interested in developing a long-term career with NCS Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is helpful but not required: Water or wastewater operations, utilities, mechanical maintenance, pumps, plumbing, construction, equipment operation, facility maintenance, landscaping, property maintenance, industrial operations, or similar hands-on work. Oregon water or wastewater operator certifications are a plus, but NCS is willing to train the right candidate. Requirements Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to safely perform physical and outdoor work Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records Ability to work independently after training Flexibility to occasionally work early mornings, weekends, or respond to operational needs Ability to travel between NCS-operated facilities as part of the workday Schedule Full-time — approximately 40 hours per week Work locations and daily responsibilities will vary based on operational needs. The normal workweek will generally consist of weekday work, although occasional early mornings, weekends, schedule changes, or emergency response may be necessary due to the nature of utility operations. Compensation $30.00 per hour Training will be provided for the right candidate. NCS supports continued professional development, including opportunities to gain experience and pursue applicable Oregon water and wastewater operator certifications.
