Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Foreman/Lead Fence Installer to oversee and coordinate fence installation projects from start to finish. In this dynamic role, you will lead a team of skilled installers, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality craftsmanship on every project. Your expertise in construction management, blueprint reading, and crew supervision will drive project success while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and client specifications. Duties Lead and manage a team of fence installers, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure timely project completion. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute each fencing project according to specifications. Coordinate construction schedules, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation across multiple sites. Conduct site inspections to verify safety compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards. Review construction drawings and technical documents using software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, or Prolog for accuracy and clarity. Supervise the installation process, ensuring quality control, proper use of tools like ohmmeters for electrical fencing systems, and adherence to safety protocols. Manage project budgets, track costs, and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to keep projects on track. Oversee the review of contracts and manage project documentation using Primavera P6 or Primavera for scheduling and management purposes. Ensure all work complies with construction regulations, safety standards, and quality expectations while managing crew performance. Utilize heavy equipment management skills such as pipeline installation techniques when applicable for specialized fencing projects. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a focus on commercial fencing or related heavy civil projects. Strong supervisory background managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment. Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid or similar tools. Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and project scheduling techniques. Familiarity with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations for ensuring safe work environments. Hands-on experience with construction site operations including quality control measures and safety management practices. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and coordinate construction schedules effectively. Excellent communication skills for managing crews, coordinating with clients, and supervising subcontractors. Knowledge of electrical systems testing using tools like ohmmeters when installing electrical fencing components is a plus.
