Maintenance Machinist
JOB SUMMARY
Maintenance Machinists must be mechanically inclined and is responsible for performing machine work to support mold and manufacturing activities.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Use of machine tools such as milling machines, lathes, saws, drill presses, etc. Use of micrometers, dial calipers, Vernier calipers and common graduated scales Produce and maintain tooling and support the maintenance department Perform repair services Construct machine items for new projects Reading manuals, charts, and written instructions Daily work order reports for each job performed and other required paperwork Reading and Interpreting Blue Prints and Schematics Leadership role in problem solving Train new Maintenance team members as needed
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Standing Walking Sitting Lifting and carrying (maximum 75 lbs.) Pushing and pulling (maximum 40 lbs.) Climbing Balancing Stooping Bending Crouching Crawling Reaching
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
