Job Description

Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and upkeep of our building systems and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment that supports our organizational goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facilities maintenance skills in a fast-paced setting. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment, and facilities infrastructure. Repair and troubleshoot mechanical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Conduct electrical work such as wiring, circuit testing with ohmmeters, and electrical equipment repair to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain HVAC systems by diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and performing system repairs to ensure optimal climate control. Use hand tools and power tools for carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, and general maintenance tasks. Assist with maintenance painting projects to uphold building aesthetics. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Support facilities equipment maintenance including elevators, fire alarms, security systems, and other building interior systems. Assist with small projects related to building interior upgrades or repairs while ensuring safety standards are met. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally. Requirements Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), with strong mechanical knowledge across various building systems. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, electrical work, plumbing system maintenance and repair. Skilled in welding, carpentry, HVAC system repair, electrical equipment repair, and plumbing tasks. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; familiarity with CMMS software is a plus. Knowledge of facility safety protocols and ability to troubleshoot using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork. Supervising or leadership experience is desirable for team coordination roles. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Pay:
