Job Summary:

As a Handy Man, you will play a crucial role in providing maintenance and repair services to ensure the upkeep and functionality of various facilities. Working under the supervision of a Facilities Manager or Property Owner, you will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks to maintain a safe and well-maintained environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing systems, electrical fixtures, and general carpentry work.
• Performing minor fixes such as repairing drywall, painting, and replacing broken appliances.
• Inspecting facilities regularly to identify issues and create proactive solutions.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or management.
• Ensuring all maintenance work is completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Collaborating with contractors and other professionals for larger projects.
• Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Skills:

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Handy Man or similar role.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems.
• Experience working in a residential or commercial setting.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
