Assistant Door Assembly Builder The Door Store Bastrop Job Summary The Door Store Bastrop is seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and eager-to-learn Assistant Door Assembly Builder to support its door assembly and production operations. This position involves assembling doors and related components according to specifications while maintaining high standards for quality, craftsmanship, efficiency, and workplace safety. Pay is dependent on experience and expertise. Responsibilities Assemble door components using hand tools, power tools, and machining techniques. Fabricate door parts according to specifications, including millwork and custom measurements. Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure product standards are met. Safely and efficiently handle materials within the warehouse/manufacturing environment. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Assist with the setup and operation of fabrication machinery as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in carpentry or manufacturing preferred. Experience in assembly, woodworking, or metal fabrication preferred. Ability to safely and accurately use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Good communication and teamwork skills. Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
