Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on manufacturing equipment using technical diagnostics tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot electrical systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical blueprints, schematics, and control panels to identify root causes of malfunctions. Conduct mechanical repairs involving industrial mechanics, stick welding, welding procedures, and equipment troubleshooting to restore machinery functionality. Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems by diagnosing issues with schematics and troubleshooting pneumatic components to minimize downtime. Operate industrial lifting equipment such as scissor lifts safely for access to high or hard-to-reach areas during maintenance tasks. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future preventative actions. Collaborate with engineering teams on complex troubleshooting efforts involving electrical diagnostics and system analysis to optimize equipment performance. Experience Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or industrial maintenance environment with hands-on knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding techniques. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting. Strong understanding of electrical blueprint reading, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting methods. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments for accurate analysis. Experience operating scissor lifts or other industrial lifting devices safely within a maintenance context. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service orientation to effectively communicate issues and solutions across teams.
