Job Description

Industrial Maintenance Technician - Electromechanical We are seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience to maintain, repair, and improve industrial production equipment. This role works on manufacturing machinery, not vehicles , and is ideal for someone who can diagnose an electrical problem with a multimeter, determine the root cause, and then complete the mechanical repair. Responsibilities Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures Respond to equipment breakdowns and safely restore machinery to operation Troubleshoot motors, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, wiring, drives, and electrical control components Repair and replace bearings, belts, chains, rollers, gears, shafts, motors, and other mechanical components Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including faults, inputs/outputs, sensors, drives, and related control components Troubleshoot VFDs, HMIs, motors, and automated production equipment Rebuild used or existing equipment to restore functionality and extend equipment life Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, modifications, and process improvements Inspect machinery for wear, damage, and potential failures Complete maintenance work orders and required documentation Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all plant safety requirements Required Qualifications Previous hands-on industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience Ability to use a multimeter and other electrical diagnostic tools Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and the ability to diagnose PLC-related faults Ability to determine whether an equipment failure is electrical, mechanical, or both Preferred Experience PLC troubleshooting VFDs and HMIs AC/DC drives and motor controls Automated manufacturing equipment Hydraulics and pneumatics Equipment rebuilds Welding or fabrication CMMS systems Industrial maintenance, electrical, mechatronics, or technical training This May Be a
