Madison Oaks Apartments (60 units) which is operated by Brownstone Residential is hiring a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician position assists in the overall completion of unit turnover, repairs, renovations, projects and on call emergencies. The Maintenance Technician will be directly responsible for carrying out all health and safety procedures that effect the property, its residents and employees. This is a hands on position.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of two years in a related apartment maintenance position. 2. Drivers License - Required 3. HVAC Certification - Required 4. Appliance repair experience 5. Computer literate to the extent of working with a computer on a daily basis 6. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in writing, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form

Physical Demands:

1. The ability to frequently lift, carry, push or pull 25 to 50 lbs. in a correct and safe manner. 2. Physically able to climb numerous flights of stairs on a daily basis. 3.

Stooping:

Frequently bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles. 4.

Kneeling:

Frequently bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees. 5.

Crouching:

Frequently bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine. 6.

Reaching:

Frequently extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. 7.

Handling:
