•Maintenance Technician You will be responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, and inspection of equipment and systems used in propane operations. This role ensures equipment reliability, safety compliance, and efficient production support. Core Responsibilities Monitors equipment for unusual sounds to detect malfunction. Responsible for mechanical troubleshooting and repair. Dismantles defective equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Conducts daily inspections & completes maintenance inspection logs. Provides technical information and operational guidance to production employees. Assists leadership with problem resolution and correction of equipment deficiencies. Constantly considers long term upgrades / repairs. Qualifications (Requirements / Skills) High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training / technical degree a plus. 1+ years' maintenance / mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic computer skills. Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Mandatory overtime when necessary. Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Technical training or technical degree a plus Experience working on industrial equipment or fleet vehicles Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Safety-focused mindset in a regulated industrial setting Why Ascend Staffing?
