Living Tree Estates is looking for a dependable, skilled, and proactive Part-Time Maintenance Technician to help keep our senior living community safe, comfortable, clean, and operating smoothly. What You'll Do Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep throughout our residential care facility Troubleshoot and address basic maintenance issues Complete preventative maintenance to help keep equipment and the building in good working condition Assist with repairs to resident rooms, common areas, doors, fixtures, furniture, and other building components Maintain exterior areas, including basic grounds and seasonal upkeep Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are needed Help monitor building safety and identify maintenance concerns before they become larger problems Respond to urgent maintenance needs when necessary Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance and repairs Follow all applicable safety, health, and facility policies Work respectfully and professionally around residents, families, and staff Our ideal candidate is: Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently A strong problem-solver who doesn't mind figuring things out Comfortable using common hand and power tools Experienced with general building or facility maintenance Able to prioritize multiple maintenance needs and respond appropriately to urgent issues Detail-oriented and takes pride in doing quality work Comfortable working in a senior living environment and interacting respectfully with residents Able to communicate clearly with management, staff, vendors, and contractors Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, remodeling, mechanical, or handyman experience is preferred. We are especially interested in someone with a broad range of practical skills who can confidently tackle everyday maintenance challenges. Schedule & Availability This is a part-time position with a schedule that can be discussed based on the candidate's availability and the needs of the facility. Some on-call availability may be required for occasional urgent maintenance issues outside of scheduled hours.
