Hilton Madison Monona Terrace is seeking a reliable Hotel Maintenance Technician to support daily hotel operations through preventative maintenance, timely repairs, and attention to detail. As a member of our engineering team, you will play a vital behind-the-scenes role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. From guest rooms to public spaces and back-of-house areas, your work ensures our hotel remains welcoming, functional, and well-maintained at all times. What Will You Be Doing? In this multi-skilled maintenance role, you will help maintain the hotel's physical assets and respond to maintenance needs across the property: Perform routine preventative maintenance throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical spaces

Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and mechanical systems

Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner

Identify potential maintenance issues and recommend proactive solutions

Complete minor repairs such as drywall, painting, fixtures, doors, locks, and furniture

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection documentation

Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are clean, safe, and organized

Follow all safety procedures and support overall engineering operations What Will You Bring to the Role? We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications include:

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Ability to perform basic math

3-4 years of general maintenance or repair experience preferred

Experience using standard maintenance and repair tools

Ability to read simple drawings and specifications

Ability to estimate materials needed for repairs

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to recognize early signs of equipment or building issues

Strong communication and documentation skills

Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality workmanship
