•Mechanic I Roane General Hospital in Spencer, WV a 60 bed Critical Access Hospital with 35 SNF/ICF beds, 25 Acute Care beds, Level IV Trauma Emergency Department, four Rural Health Clinics and Walk-in clinic is currently seeking applicants for a Full-Time Maintenance

Mechanic I Qualifications:

The maintenance mechanic is responsible for helping maintain the physical plant and grounds. The applicant will assist in preventive maintenance and repairs for a wide range of hospital equipment and utility systems, plumbing, electrical, steam/boilers, medical gas, HVAC/chillers, water, lighting, painting, grounds keeping, and responsibilities related to facility security. Preferred applicants will have previous maintenance experience in a medical, school or industrial setting. Have working knowledge of applicable federal, state and local safety rules, regulations, guidelines and practices. Valid license in electrical, plumbing or HVAC desired. Valid driver's license is required.
