•5:00 PM About the Role Lotus Business Solutions (LBS), a staffing and workforce solutions company, is hiring Low Voltage Technicians / Cable Installers on behalf of one of our clients in the Chicagoland area. We are seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians, Cable Technicians, Network Cable Installers, and Structured Cabling Technicians with hands-on experience in commercial cabling, network wiring, CCTV cameras, and access control systems. Key Responsibilities Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cables. Perform structured cabling, network wiring, and cable management. Install CCTV cameras, IP surveillance, access control, and security systems. Set up network racks, patch panels, switches, and related equipment. Perform basic network configuration and low voltage troubleshooting. Read wiring diagrams and complete commercial installations. Coordinate and lead field installation projects when required. Requirements Previous experience as a Low Voltage Technician, Cable Installer, Cabling Technician, or Network Technician . Knowledge of Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, RJ45 termination, and structured cabling. Experience with CCTV installation, security cameras, or access control systems.

PEC Safety Card:

Must possess a valid PEC Safety Card or be willing and able to obtain one. Ability to troubleshoot low voltage systems independently. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and ladders. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and basic technician tools. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred:

Experience with fiber optics, commercial security systems, network installation, or leading low voltage projects. Compensation & Benefits $22

•30/hour , depending on experience. Biweekly payments. Paid time off (PTO). On-site training and professional development. Transition from 1099 to W-2 after 90 days. Full-time, long-term opportunity. Work Location This is an onsite, field-based position requiring travel to commercial project locations throughout the Chicagoland area, generally within approximately 100 miles of Rolling Meadows, IL.
