Overview We are looking for a skilled and reliable low voltage/installation technician to join our team. In this field based role, you will travel to client homes and offices to professionally install, configure and test our three core services: 1. Security Camera Systems Install and mount IP and analog security cameras Run and terminate cabling (Cat6, coaxial, etc.) Setup NVRs/DVRs, configure remote viewing and ensure proper system operation Perform site assessments to determine optimal camera placement 2. Audio-visual (AV) Installation Install and configure AV equipment including diplays, projectors, speakers, sound systems and video conferencing setups Mount equipment, pull and terminate low voltage cabling and ensure clean professional finishes Test and troubleshoot AV systems for optimal performance 3. Computer & Printer Installations Install and set up desktop computers, laptops and printers Connect devices to networks, install necessary software/drivers and perform basic configuration Ensure systems are fully functional and ready for client use The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently in the field and takes pride in delivering clean, reliable installations. Paid on-the-job traing is provided. General Duties Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude with clients Follow safety procedures and company standards on every job Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used Communicate clearly with clients and the office regarding job status Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment in good condition Requirements Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and work in ceilings/attics Strong attention to detail and pride in clean workmanship Good communication and customer service skills Willingness to learn and follow established installation processes Ability to work independently in the field Preferred (But not required) Previous experience with security cameras, AV systems or low voltage cabling Basic networking knowledge(IP addressing, POE switches) Experience installing computers and printers Familiarity with tools in low voltage and IT installations What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid on-the-job training Oppurtunities for growth and skill development Company-provided tools and equipment (where applicable) Qualifications Proven experience with low-voltage electrical wiring, network installation, and telecommunications systems. Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN (Local Area Network), Ethernet cabling, and network wiring standards. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively in various environments. Understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards related to low-voltage wiring installations. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues using technical proficiency in equipment troubleshooting. Effective communication skills for working directly with clients and team members on-site or remotely.

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
