Job Description

Cable Assembly Technician Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cable Assembly Technician to join our production team. This position is responsible for assembling cable and wire products according to assembly drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at a bench, using hand tools, and performing cable preparation and termination work in a production environment.
Duties:
Assemble cable and wire products according to assembly drawings, specifications, and work instructions Read and follow assembly drawings accurately Measure, cut, and strip cable and wire Perform crimping and termination of wires, cables, connectors, and terminals Apply and properly use heat shrink tubing Use hand tools, power tools, crimpers, wire strippers, and other cable assembly equipment Perform repetitive assembly work at a workbench Inspect completed assemblies for workmanship and accuracy Test completed cable assemblies as required Identify and communicate quality or assembly issues Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Work collaboratively with production and quality team members Follow all company safety and quality procedures Requirements Experience with cable, wire, or electrical assembly preferred Familiarity with stripping cable, crimping, terminations, and heat shrinking Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and work instructions Comfortable working with hand tools and performing detailed bench assembly Ability to accurately measure and identify wires, cables, and components Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs. Ability to stand, sit, bend, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the workday Dependable attendance and ability to work in a production environment We offer competitive pay and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
