Rate:

£275 per day Are you a CCTV Engineer based in Edinburgh looking for your next contract opportunity? As a CCTV Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out second-fix installation, equipment installation, system testing and commissioning works, supporting projects across commercial and infrastructure sites. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

Replace existing CCTV cameras and install new recording and monitoring equipment, including NVRs, DVRs, PCs and monitors.
Terminate, connect and configure CCTV equipment to manufacturer and project specifications.
Test camera operation, recording, playback and system connectivity to confirm correct functionality.
Carry out full system commissioning and identify and rectify any installation or commissioning faults.
Complete all relevant commissioning documentation and handover information to the required standard.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment throughout the project, adhering to site health and safety requirements.

Experience and Certifications required:

Proven experience as a CCTV Installation or Commissioning Engineer, with hands-on second-fix installation experience.
Demonstrated experience installing and connecting cameras, NVRs, DVRs, PCs and monitors on commercial or infrastructure projects.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small site team, with a professional approach and strong attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence and own hand tools, power tools and PPE required.
ECS Card required.
NSI or SSAIB accreditation (desirable).
