£275 per day Are you a CCTV Engineer based in Edinburgh looking for your next contract opportunity? As a CCTV Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out second-fix installation, equipment installation, system testing and commissioning works, supporting projects across commercial and infrastructure sites. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.Responsibilities:
- Replace existing CCTV cameras and install new recording and monitoring equipment, including NVRs, DVRs, PCs and monitors.
- Terminate, connect and configure CCTV equipment to manufacturer and project specifications.
- Test camera operation, recording, playback and system connectivity to confirm correct functionality.
- Carry out full system commissioning and identify and rectify any installation or commissioning faults.
- Complete all relevant commissioning documentation and handover information to the required standard.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment throughout the project, adhering to site health and safety requirements.
Experience and Certifications required:
- Proven experience as a CCTV Installation or Commissioning Engineer, with hands-on second-fix installation experience.
- Demonstrated experience installing and connecting cameras, NVRs, DVRs, PCs and monitors on commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small site team, with a professional approach and strong attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence and own hand tools, power tools and PPE required.
- ECS Card required.
- NSI or SSAIB accreditation (desirable).
