Job Overview East Ten Diesel Repair is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman / Diesel Mechanic to lead our shop team and deliver top-quality repair and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks, heavy equipment, farm machinery, and RVs. This role combines hands-on mechanical expertise with leadership, including overseeing daily shop operations, coordinating repairs, maintaining safety standards, and helping build the team and culture as we grow. The ideal candidate brings strong diagnostic skills, deep diesel knowledge, and a genuine interest in developing the people around them. Duties Lead and supervise the shop team in diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks, equipment, farm machinery, and RVs Assign and prioritize work orders to keep bays moving and minimize customer downtime Troubleshoot transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, air brakes, suspensions, and HVAC systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools Perform complex repairs including welding, alignment, tire service, and component assembly Service RV chassis, engines, generators, and related systems Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy before units leave the shop Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation in line with industry standards Enforce safe work practices and keep the shop clean and organized Coach and develop technicians, and help hire and shape the crew as we grow Communicate repair status and recommendations clearly with customers and team members Bring ideas to the table on how to run a better, healthier shop Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience (dealership or heavy equipment background a plus) Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension, air brakes, and electrical systems Skilled at reading schematics and technical manuals to solve complex problems Proficient with diagnostic software and specialized tools Welding and fabrication experience preferred Experience operating heavy equipment, forklifts, and tractor-trailers is a plus RV repair experience preferred, or a willingness to learn and grow into it Leadership or supervisory experience, or the drive to become the kind of leader you always wanted to work for Strong communication and customer service skills Able to lift heavy components safely while keeping close attention to detail Valid CDL / own tools What We Offer Competitive pay: $35-$50/hour Generous Tool Allowance Paid Health Benefits Paid Uniforms Paid time off Room to grow, including into the RV repair side A real voice in how the shop is run, with owners who listen The chance to get in early and help build the shop you'd want to work at

Schedule:

Monday-Friday / on-call rotation for night/weekend fleet breakdown calls
