Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive and Diesel Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment, including trucks, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and construction machinery. Your expertise will ensure optimal vehicle performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on automotive electrical systems, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension, and other mechanical systems using schematics and specialized tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other industrial machinery. Execute fabrication tasks including welding, assembly, and custom modifications to meet specific operational needs. Service and repair farm machinery and heavy trucks, ensuring all systems are functioning efficiently. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to complete repairs accurately and safely. Conduct wheel alignments, tire services, shocks & struts replacements, brake repairs, and suspension work to maintain vehicle safety standards. Adhere to safety protocols during heavy lifting operations and equipment maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive diagnostics and heavy equipment repair. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including transmissions, HVAC systems, electrical components, hydraulics, and engine repair—particularly diesel engines. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex mechanical issues. Hands-on experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and other industrial equipment. Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding and metalworking; capable of performing precise assembly tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working with power tools or handling large components; comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
