Job Description
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working on Volvo and Freightliner semi-trucks and trailers, with strong abilities in PM services, oil changes, brake work, and general mechanical repairs. Key Responsibilities Perform full PM services on semi-trucks and trailers Complete oil changes, fuel filters, and chassis lubrication Inspect and service air brake systems Replace brake pads, shoes, drums, and air chambers Perform wheel-end work (hub seals, bearings, axle nuts) Handle suspension repairs (air bags, shocks, hangers) Repair and replace belts, pulleys, tensioners Perform coolant system repairs (coolant flushes & leak repairs) Assist with basic electrical tasks (lights, fuses, connectors) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Qualifications Previous diesel mechanic experience with heavy-duty trucks Strong mechanical skills and understanding of truck systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Tools Own tools preferred
