Position Overview As our Lead Master Diagnostic & EV/Hybrid Technician , you will serve as the go-to expert for complex vehicle diagnostics, advanced electrical concerns, and electric and hybrid vehicle systems. You'll accurately identify problems others may overlook, lead challenging repairs, and guide our technician team while maintaining the high standards of safety, integrity, and workmanship our customers expect. Key Responsibilities Perform master-level diagnostics on domestic and import gas, hybrid, and electric vehicles Diagnose and repair high-voltage systems, battery management systems, inverters, charging systems, and related EV and hybrid components Lead the diagnosis of electrical, drivability, communication network, and intermittent faults Interpret wiring diagrams, scan data, waveforms, and manufacturer service information to identify root causes Support and mentor technicians through complex diagnostic procedures and repairs Use advanced scan tools, oscilloscopes, meters, programming equipment, and other diagnostic technology Follow all required high-voltage safety procedures and manufacturer repair standards Help maintain a culture of integrity, professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional customer service We're Looking for
Someone With:
Extensive experience in advanced automotive diagnostics and a proven ability to solve complex problems Strong hands-on experience servicing and repairing electric and hybrid vehicles Expert knowledge of automotive electrical systems, drivability, high-voltage systems, and vehicle communication networks The ability to interpret complex diagnostic data and accurately determine root causes Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning ASE certifications, including ASE L3, or equivalent EV/hybrid training preferred 5-10 years of automotive diagnostic and repair experience Advanced experience diagnosing and repairing electric and hybrid vehicles Strong electrical, drivability, high-voltage, and vehicle network diagnostic skills Ability to read wiring diagrams and interpret scan data, waveforms, and technical service information Valid driver's license and a clean, insurable driving record Ability to work independently and efficiently without compromising accuracy, safety, or integrity EV/hybrid training and ASE certifications, including ASE L3, are preferred What You Can Expect From Us Continuous support, training, and the resources you need to succeed Courtesy and respect at every level of the organization A strong commitment to honest, ethical automotive service Leadership that listens, values your expertise, and supports your career growth A positive, collaborative, professional, and clean work environment Incentive and bonus plans with realistic, attainable goals Additional Information & Benefits Modern, multi-million-dollar facilities equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, software, tools, and amenities The company covers 75% of your insurance premium after 30 days of employment Tenure-based advancement opportunities and incentives—your loyalty is rewarded Paid time off No weekends—we are closed every Saturday and Sunday If you're ready to put your advanced diagnostic and EV/hybrid expertise to work with one of the fastest-growing, top-rated automotive companies in the DFW area, we want to hear from you.
