50-70% Alexanderwerk is a German machinery manufacturer of high-quality process equipment for the Pharmaceutical & Chemical Industries, our Americas Division is located in Montgomeryville, PA and we are in seeking an experienced Engineers and Electro-Mechanical Technicians to join the Field Services Team.

Description of duties and responsibilities:

Provide installation, qualification, training, evaluation, maintenance, calibration and repair services for machinery at customer worksites located throughout the Americas and at times Internationally. Works closely with our Global Engineering & Services Teams for on-site and in-house support for overhaul and assembly works.

Required Experience:

• Experience in troubleshooting complex PLC/computer-operated electro-mechanical equipment; PLC's, I/O, and field devices; repairing, setting up, adjusting, and tuning mechanical systems and pneumatic systems.
• Experience using all tools and procedures needed to repair precision electro-mechanical machinery successfully the first time. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Machine design and automation, process control, engineering
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes & practices
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to easily navigate multiple software and internet applications, proficient in MS Office programs, basic data entry skills
• Valid driver's license, Passport, and reliable personal transportation
• Flexible schedule for required travel throughout

• Must be fluent in English with ability to speak German and/or

Spanish Target Experience:

• Related work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and / or chemical manufacturing
• Three (3) years professional experience in reading and modifying electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Three (3) years' experience in the use and application of test equipment and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting of and setup of new control system hardware and software.
• Three (3) years of professional experience in control systems and instrumentation systems.
