Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team. This position combines fabrication shop work with field service supporting mining operations throughout the region. We're looking for people with strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a great work ethic. Previous fabrication experience is helpful, but not required. We are happy to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn. Individuals with backgrounds in agriculture, construction, concrete work, equipment maintenance, diesel, manufacturing, or other hands-on trades are encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Fabricate, repair, and assemble equipment in the shop. Assist with maintenance and shutdown projects at mining facilities. Safely operate hand and power tools. Read measurements and follow fabrication instructions. Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment. Work alongside experienced technicians to complete projects safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company and MSHA safety procedures. Travel & Schedule This position offers a mix of shop work and field service.
Monday:
Shop work (generally 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
Tuesday:
Shop work followed by approximately a five-hour drive to the job site. Hotel accommodations are provided.
Wednesday:
Work an extended shift at the customer site (often up to 14 hours), then return to Preston that evening with approximately a five-hour drive home.
Thursday:
Shop work (generally 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
Friday and Saturday:
Overtime opportunities may be available depending on workload. This position requires flexibility, as field service projects may involve extended workdays and overnight travel. What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic. Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions. Able to regularly lift up to 55 pounds. Comfortable working at elevated heights when required. Experience in fabrication, welding, agriculture, construction, maintenance, equipment operation, or related trades is a plus but not required.
