Basic Duties Perform service and repairs on construction equipment in the field for Altorfer's customers.\nTroubleshoot and repair engine, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems.\nProvide excellent customer service to all customers.\nOperate equipment in a safe manner to find diagnostic errors, technical problems, and determine proper solutions.\nEstablish and maintain a service oriented relationship with customers and supervisors.\nOrder parts in equipment parts books or online.\nComplete service reports and enter the proper data into the computer systems.\nOther duties as assigned Qualifications Successful completion of a formal technical training program with a minimum of four years' experience in a service setting required.\nMust have engine, electrical, hydraulic, transmissions and diagnostic troubleshooting and repair skills.\nComputer literacy required. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, and CAT programs.\nMust be a self-starter with good time management\nExcellent planning & organizational skills required\nMust be team oriented and willing to adapt to change.\nCDL with air brake required. Must have clean driving record.\nAbility to work overtime and some weekends when needed.\nExcellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.\nMust be able to lift up to 75lbs and provide your own tools.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required.\nMust have a valid driver's license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).
