Job Description

As the Field Service Technician for Engine Services, the successful candidate will be responsible providing specialized hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, possible warranty evaluation and the ability to change out Engine, Module and Accessories for the RRM250 and RR300 series Engines. The working condition is remote with regular visits to the shops, regular interaction with production & logistics, and quality. This position may be occasionally work on the shop floor exposing you to varying noise levels, machinery, dust and dirt (PPE required). Additionally, travel to partner and customer sites and/or trade shows may be required. This is a full-time position that reports to the Director, Business Development Engine Service. Diagnose Failures:
Provide advanced on-site and remote technicaltroubleshooting for M250 compressor, turbine, and accessory gearbox issues. .
Interpret Data:
Analyze engine performance parameters, FADEC download logs, and maintenance telemetry to identify root causes. .
Guide Maintenance:
Direct operator technicians through complex riggings, engine trims, borescope inspections, and field-level component replacements. 2. Warranty & lnvestigation Support .
lncident lnvestigation:
Serve as the initial technicaleyes for suspected warranty events, preserving critical physical and digital evidence. .
Technical Reporting:
Draft highly detailed, objective Technical lncident Reports (TlR) with photographic evidence to support the AMROC warranty workflow. .
Liaison Activity:
Facilitate engineering communications between the operator, the overhaul shop, and Rolls-Royce corporate engineering. 3. Customer Relations & Training .
Fleet Monitoring:
Conduct regular site visits to key operators to monitor engine health and proactively address reliability issues. . On-the-Job Training; Deliver informal, field-leveltechnical briefings and standard maintenance training to operator personnel. 4. Eoucarto

Aviation License:
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license .
Product Training:
Documented completion of the official Rolls-Royce M250 Engine Maintenance Type Course. . Degree (Preferred): Bachelor's degree in aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or Aviation Management is a plus but secondary to hands-on experience. 5. Professional Experience .
Engine Specifics:
Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul experience specifically on Rolls-Royce M250 variants (C20, C30, C47). .
Field Experience:
Prior experience in a customer-facing field service or technical representative role within commercial helicopter or turboprop operations. 6. Key Competencies & Skills .
Systems Knowledge:
Deep proficiency in reading blueprints, engine schematics, wiring diagrams, and Service Bulletins (SBs/ASBs). .
Tool Competency:
Mastery of specialized turbine maintenance tools, alignment fixtures, and digital borescope equipment. a
Soft Skills:
Strong universal English communication skills, high cultural adaptability, and the ability to de-escalate high-stress aircraft-on-ground (AO G ) situations.
