In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machine tools, including advanced equipment up to 5-axis machines. You will be supported with the tools, technology, training, and technical resources needed to be successful in the field. Key Responsibilities
- Install, level, align, commission, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machine tools, including mills, lathes, and equipment up to 5-axis.
- Perform preventative maintenance, emergency service, and machine-down repairs to minimize customer downtime.
- Diagnose electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and software-related issues on CNC equipment.
- Troubleshoot CNC controls, including FANUC and Haas controllers, and identify root causes of equipment failures.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding arrival times, service status, repair progress, and recommended next steps.
- Document service activities accurately and coordinate with internal teams, technicians, and vendors on complex repairs. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000 to $90,000 per year.

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machine tools in customer field service environments.
- Perform machine leveling, alignment, installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and emergency repair.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, controller, and software-related CNC issues.
- Support machine-down situations with urgency while delivering professional customer communication and documentation.
- 3+ years of experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair on CNC machinery.
- Experience level of 6-10 years is highly aligned with this role.
- Hands-on experience with CNC mills, CNC lathes, Haas, Matsuura, Makino, Okuma, or other industrial CNC machining equipment.
- Knowledge of CNC/OEM machine controllers, especially FANUC and Haas.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, maintenance instructions, and safety procedures.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to independently diagnose equipment problems in the field.
- Excellent customer service, communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, accountable, self-motivated, and willing to continually learn new CNC technologies.
- Valid driver's license required.
- High school diploma or GED required. Preferred Qualifications
- Matsuura CNC machine experience.
- Experience servicing 5-axis CNC equipment.
- Broad exposure to multiple CNC machine brands and controller platforms.
- Prior field service experience supporting manufacturing or machining customers.
