This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with tools, fixing equipment, and being out in the field. You will accompany another employee to different job sites to learn how to inspect, maintain, and repair scales and related equipment. As you gain experience and obtain your CDL, you will eventually be able to drive a company truck to job sites and perform service work on your own and/or with another team member.

Pay:

$18.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience

Location:

Perrysburg, Ohio Job Duties Ride with an experienced technician to different job sites. Help diagnose and repair scales and related equipment. Use basic hand and power tools to make repairs. Learn how to troubleshoot equipment and identify problems. Help with installation, maintenance, and service work. Travel to customer locations as needed. Keep the company truck, tools, and equipment organized and in good working condition. Follow safety procedures while working at customer locations. Eventually drive a company vehicle to job sites after obtaining your CDL. Work independently or with another technician once properly trained. Job Requirements No experience required, willing to train the right person! What we're looking for: Dependability Willingness to learn Good communication skills Someone who is mechanically inclined: Someone who has experience in and/or an interest in electronics Interest in electrical equipment, electronics, and basic programming is helpful.
