Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Water Restoration Technician to spearhead our water, flood, fire, and mold remediation projects. In this vital role, you will lead a team of technicians to deliver exceptional restoration services, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in water damage restoration, mold remediation, and industry-standard techniques will drive successful project outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in clients' lives by restoring their properties swiftly and effectively. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest safety standards while managing on-site operations with confidence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise water damage restoration projects from start to finish, including flood and storm-related incidents. Oversee the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection, and safety protocols to ensure team safety at all times. Coordinate emergency response efforts promptly and efficiently, providing on-call coverage as needed for urgent situations. Perform advanced cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and mold remediation to restore properties to pre-loss conditions. Operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment like Xactimate for accurate damage assessment and documentation. Manage project timelines, communicate effectively with clients and your supervisor to provide updates, and ensure customer service excellence throughout the process. Maintain compliance with safety regulations including respiratory protection protocols and proper handling of hazardous materials. Experience Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on water damage restoration, flood recovery, and mold remediation. Demonstrated ability to lead teams in high-pressure situations while adhering to safety standards. Familiarity with construction processes related to restoration work is highly desirable. Knowledge of Xactimate software for estimating damages is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients during stressful situations. Prior experience operating power tools, hand tools, company vehicles, and specialized equipment used in restoration projects is essential. Certification or training in asbestos abatement or other hazardous material handling is a plus but not mandatory.
