Compensation:
Percentage-Based | Average $1,000
•1,500 Per Day Per Subcontractor Crew Oh Jolly Lights is looking for experienced independent 1099 subcontractors to install Gemstone permanent lighting systems for residential and commercial customers. We are looking for experienced tradespeople who are comfortable working on the exterior of homes and buildings and can complete professional, clean installations. Compensation This is percentage-based subcontract work , not hourly employment. Depending on the size and scope of the installation, subcontractor crews average approximately $1,000
•1,500 in pay per working day. Actual compensation will vary based on the individual project and agreed-upon percentage.
Requirements Applicants must:
Operate as an independent 1099 subcontractor Have their own work van or suitable work vehicle Have their own tools and equipment Have professional exterior installation/trade experience Have experience working with at least one of the following: Aluminum Windows Gutters Siding Be comfortable working from ladders and at roofline heights Be reliable, professional, and capable of producing clean, high-quality work Have reliable transportation to job sites Two-Person Crews Preferred We strongly prefer subcontractors who already have a two-person crew or partner they regularly work with. Gemstone installations are best completed with two experienced people, and applicants who can provide a reliable two-person installation crew are encouraged to apply. About the Work You will be installing Gemstone permanent exterior lighting systems on homes and businesses for Oh Jolly Lights. The work involves measuring, cutting, and installing aluminum track along rooflines and other exterior areas, installing the lighting system, routing wiring, and completing a clean, professional finished installation. Experience specifically installing permanent lighting is helpful, but not required if you already have strong experience with aluminum, siding, gutters, windows, or similar exterior installation work. Schedule Our installation season begins October 20 . We are looking for subcontractors who can take on consistent installation work during the season. Additional opportunities may be available based on workload and performance.
