Service Oiler/Grease Technician - Heavy Equipment

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable Service Oiler / Grease Technician to join our construction team. This position is responsible for helping keep our heavy equipment and machinery serviced, greased, and ready to work across multiple job sites. The right person will be dependable, safety-minded, comfortable working around heavy equipment, and willing to work outdoors in an active construction environment. Responsibilities Grease and perform routine lubrication on heavy equipment and machinery Check and top off fluids as needed Assist with oil and filter changes and other routine preventative maintenance Inspect equipment for leaks, damage, or potential maintenance issues Keep service supplies, oils, grease, filters, and tools organized Maintain basic service and maintenance records Travel between job sites as needed Communicate equipment issues to operators, mechanics, and supervisors Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow company and job-site safety procedures Qualifications Some experience working with heavy equipment, construction equipment, farm equipment, trucks, or similar machinery preferred Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn Ability to identify common grease points, fluid levels, and basic maintenance needs Dependable and able to work independently Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to safely climb on and around heavy equipment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong attention to safety and equipment care We are willing to train the right person who has some equipment experience, a good work ethic, and an interest in learning equipment maintenance. What We're Looking For We need someone who takes pride in keeping equipment maintained and understands that preventative maintenance is an important part of keeping a construction crew moving. Reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to help wherever needed are important for this position. Pay is $20.00-$24.00 per hour depending on experience.
