Our shop handles everything from small 2-cycle engines to heavy-duty tri-axle trucks. If you are a problem-solver who enjoys variety and has a deep mastery of diesel motors, hydraulics, and small engine repair, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities Heavy-Duty Fleet:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain light-duty (gas) and heavy-duty (diesel) trucks, tri-axles, and trailers.
Heavy Equipment:
Perform full-service repairs on excavators, skid steers, rollers, pavers, and milling machines.
Small Engine Repair:
Maintain and troubleshoot small equipment including Honda compactors and Stihl power tools (leaf blowers, demo saws, weed wackers).
Specialized Systems:
Service BOSS air compressors and complex hydraulic systems.
Shop Operations:
Safely operate forklifts and various heavy machinery to move equipment in and out of the shop for service.
Required Qualifications & Skills Specific Diesel Expertise:
Must have proven experience with diesel motor overhauls, diagnostics, and fuel systems.
Versatility:
Ability to switch gears between small engine carburetors and heavy equipment hydraulic pumps.
Equipment Operation:
Proficiency in operating forklifts, excavators, and skid steers for the purpose of moving/testing equipment.
Diagnostic Skills:
Ability to use software and manual techniques to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues across different brands (Stihl, Honda, Cat, etc.).
Tools:
Must possess your own set of professional-grade tools.
Pay:
$20.00 - $40.00 per hour
