Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Mechanic Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist mechanics in performing maintenance and repairs on various vehicles and machinery. This role is crucial in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The Mechanic Helper will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, learning essential skills that will contribute to their growth in the automotive or mechanical field. Responsibilities Assist mechanics with routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Help diagnose mechanical issues under the supervision of experienced mechanics. Utilize tools and equipment, including an ohmmeter, to test electrical systems and components. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Support the repair of engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems as directed. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to promote a safe working environment. Document work performed and assist in inventory management of tools and parts. Experience Previous experience or coursework in automotive technology or a related field is preferred but not required. Familiarity with basic hand tools and mechanical systems is advantageous. Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. A willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
