Job Description

General Description:
As a Thompson Trucking Diesel Technician you will perform service functions for commercial dump trucks. This position's functions is in a service environment at Thompson Trucking performing heavy duty truck repairs, such as but not limited to computer diagnostics, electrical diagnostics and repair, DD13 engine repair, Allison transmission repair, tarp arms, wheel seals, air brakes, oil and fuel filter changes, and hydraulic cylinder repair.
Basic Requirements:
Must have experience Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner. Must be at least 18 years of age. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future. Clean MVR and valid a driver license. Air brake certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Candidate Criteria:
Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner. Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team. Must be a self-starter and willing to take initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision.
