Shop Technician Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong background in diesel mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding, with a focus on delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Experience with servicing specialized equipment such as IBAK and Schwalm is considered a plus. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues using schematics and diagnostic tools. Repair and replace components related to hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Conduct welding repairs as needed to restore equipment integrity. Read and interpret technical schematics to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions. Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. Assist in the inspection of equipment to identify potential issues before they lead to failure. Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized shop environment. Experience 5+ years of experience Must own your own tools Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or shop technician with a strong understanding of equipment repair and maintenance. Hands-on experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, diesel engines, and schematics interpretation. Skilled in welding techniques relevant to heavy machinery repair. Knowledge of diesel mechanics is essential.
Nice to have:

Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
