Heavy Equipment Mechanic Tree Servants, LLC - Bremen, IN Full-Time | Starting at $25/hour

We take pride in maintaining a reliable fleet and equipment lineup that allows our crews to deliver exceptional results every day. Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment, including chippers, stump grinders, cranes, skid steers, pay loaders, and a semi. This is a full-time position for an experienced mechanic who is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage maintenance records accurately. Work Monday-Friday (weekends rarely required) Join a supportive, family-owned local business with a strong reputation Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and service work on heavy equipment, including chippers, grinders, cranes, skid steers, pay loaders, and semi trucks Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs Maintain accurate maintenance logs and ensure all equipment is serviced on schedule Order parts, track inventory, and keep organized records of all purchased and installed components Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment meets all operational standards Utilize minor computer skills for recordkeeping and ordering Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Requirements Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience CDL A required (additional endorsements or certifications are a plus) Strong experience working with heavy equipment and hydraulics Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems Proficient with skid steers and pay loaders Basic computer skills for logging maintenance and ordering parts Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day maintenance planning
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
