This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to operate independently while providing outstanding customer support. Key Responsibilities Travel to customer locations in a fully equipped service truck to diagnose and repair equipment. Perform advanced diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems. Complete repairs accurately, efficiently, and according to dealership standards. Communicate findings to customers and recommend preventative maintenance and value-added repairs. Conduct equipment inspections and identify opportunities to maximize machine productivity and minimize downtime. Maintain accurate labor, service, and repair documentation. Coordinate with the Service Manager regarding additional repairs, changes in scope, or scheduling concerns. Ensure all parts used are properly documented and billed. Submit complete work order information upon completion of repair activities. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and fixed assets in proper operating condition. Participate in technical training and dealership development programs. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Technical school degree in diesel, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment technology, or related field; equivalent experience considered. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a heavy equipment, diesel, agricultural, or construction equipment technician. Experience diagnosing and repairing agricultural equipment preferred. Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and engine systems. Computer proficiency and ability to work within dealership management systems. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Class A CDL preferred, or willingness to obtain one. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds. Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
